Description
We are currently seeking a skilled Embroidery Machine Operator to join our production team at TARW Sports. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining embroidery machines, ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards and are produced efficiently. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong attention to detail and a passion for creating exceptional sportswear.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate embroidery machines, following job specifications and ensuring the accurate placement of designs on garments
- Load and thread machines with appropriate colors and materials according to job requirements
- Monitor machine operation, making adjustments as needed to maintain quality and efficiency
- Perform routine maintenance on embroidery machines, including cleaning, oiling, and troubleshooting
- Inspect completed products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications, making necessary adjustments or corrections as needed
- Maintain accurate records of completed jobs, including production counts, materials used, and any issues encountered during the production process
- Collaborate with production team members to ensure smooth workflow and efficient production
- Follow safety guidelines and company policies at all times
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve embroidery techniques and processes, contributing to the overall quality and efficiency of production
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating embroidery machines, preferably in a production environment
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality products
- Basic understanding of embroidery design software and file formats
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing production needs
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
- Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet production deadlines
